Whoa, guess what? I just came on to www.blogger.com to write a blog, and they asked me to be a beta tester for Google's new email system, Gmail. How cool is that? I remember reading about this in the newspaper, and it sounded extremely kick ass, but it said it probably wouldn't be another year or so. When I read that last part I was like "damn!" But hey, now I'm a beta tester =P.

Holy hell, this is so awesome. Gmail offers one free gigabyte of storage space. Wanna know how much that is? Well, one gigabyte is one thousaid (yes, you read that right) megabytes. The free version of Hotmail only gives you 2 megabytes, and the paid for version gives you 100. Pay for Hotmail, and you get 100 megabyes of space. Use Google's new free email service Gmail and you get one gigabytes worth of space. They're so confident about this that they say "you will never have to delete an email again... just put it into your archives for storage." Jeeze, that's crazy. They also have this little feature where you can search for specific emails. There's probably a zillion more features, but I'm still exploring How cool is that? And no, Google didn't pay me to say all this stuff.

You may have noticed that I wasn't online for most of the past week, and I didn't get any of the site updated. Here's why:

Last Sunday my dad caught me online at 10:30-ish PM or so. He jabbed the "power" and ripped my hardrive out. While he was walking out of my room, he muttured something along the lines of "never again... no more computer..." But after a week of being an angel (heh), he gave it back to me and now here I am.

The week was mostly uneventful (or I forgot what happened in it). Then on Friday, yesterday, Meg persuaded me to buy a ticket to morP. Being the last day tickets were available and after school, there was this huge line that I didn't really care to stand in, but I did anyway. I knew my dad was gonna be pissed that didn't show up at the place where he picks me up, but oh well, anything for meg. After I got my ticket, I was walking towards BMMS because that's where he usually waits, but I saw him walking towards me. I knew I was I was in trouble, but it turned out that he was more worried about where I was than angry. While he was still steaming, he said I was not going to the dance, but after he calmed down, he changed his mind and said I can go.

That leads to tonight when I head over to Meg's house to have dinner with her, Allison, Ambrose, Jason, Jessie, and Patty. After that, most of us are heading to the dance. Cool stuff, eh? I'll post about it tomorrow morning.

On Tuesday I was in Downtown again, and while crossing the Coronado Bay Bridge I saw these 5 army guys dangling out of one rope in a helicopter over the bay. They were even farther up than the bridge at its highest point. It was cool.

On Wednesday, I went into North County this time, and spent some time in a hardware store that my dad wanted to check out. Then we drove over to this metal shop place. Its not exactly my idea of fun to walk around a metal shop so I wanted more to stay in the car and listen to the CD player that I had brought along. As my dad was exiting the car, my little brother caught a sign in the parkinglot that said "Due to insurance reasons, children under the age of 12 are not permitted in the metal area." He told my dad, and my dad told him to stay in the car, then. A split second later, I said "He's not allowed to stay in the car alone without supervision from someone 14 or older according to law. I'll stay with him." Then my dad got back into the car, and slammed the door shut. I thought he was pissed and was going to say something about me being a "smartass," but he didn't. Instead, he said we'd come back when my little brother was of age. Then we rented some movies and went home to watch them.

This morning, I watched another one of the 3 movies we rented, read some books, and headed over to Patty's house for her birthday party. Happy Birthday, Patty =). Would you believe it? The reason why she had a party was because of me. The night before, last night, I had called her at around 8:30 wanting to say happy birthday. And while on the phone, she asked me to come over to her house today to celebrate, and consulted with her mom on a good time. Less than a day to plan, and Patty got me, Agnes, Elif, Stephanie, Jessie, and Daniel to go =). Damn, she was doing too much work on her on party >.<. She even baked her own damned cake :-/. It was good, though. lol. We ate, talked, played badminton, watched a movie, and I busted out my phat karoke moves. Ahahaha, well, atleast I tried. Yep. Good day.

Happy 15th Birthday, Patricia Ryan!

Its the second day of Spring Break. Yes, the second day... and I'm already bored as crap. I wonder how those music department people in London are doing?

Most of my weekend was spent watching movies (Forrest Gump, Seabiscuit and others) and TV at my uncle's house with his huge flat screen plasma TV. Its sexy to the max =D.

On Sunday night, my parents pulled me away from the screen for a few hours to drive me into the Gaslamp quarters in Downtown, Seaport Village, Mission Bay, and other places down there in south San Diego. When we got home I flipped the television on, and caught the last hour or so of The Patriot on TV.

Okay. Do you know what Spring Break means? I betcha you do. It means partying down in Cancun, Mexico. But for us that are not old enough to go down there in person to partake in all the drinking, games, and usual sexual activities, MTV is the next best thing. So here I am on Monday morning flipping through channels, when I remember that MTV's Spring Break should be on. But guess what? Its not. Spring Break is usually the only week I bother to watch MTV, but this year their Spring Break program aren't synchronized with our school's Spring Break. Gah, oh well. So instead, I had Dora the Explorer be my friend. Fun stuff.

After all this TV, one feels he must get out of the house and do something, so thats just what I did. I went down to the beach in Del Mar, with high hopes of frolicking in the tides. Where I live, it was sunny and hot as hell. But as we neared the beach, it got overcast. I decided not to go into the water, but still had somewhat of a good time just chilling at the beach for a couple of hours.

Who cares to do something this week? I really need some activity... >.<

What a week. Hmm, where do I start?

Lets back track to last Wednesday or Thursday, when Ann asked me in school "Hey, do you want to watch a movie this weekend?" "Sure," I replied, and that was that. It wasn't until a day or two later when Carly IMed me and we figured out that we were going to go on Saturday, watch Secret Window (0o0o0o, Mr. Pacilio grammar rules! Italicize movies! That's hot), and eat at Islands. We were to meet at Islands. So on Saturday morning, I go into Downtown SD, and come back in time at 2:30 to go to the movie. I start the 15 trek from my house to Mira Mesa Market Center, and when I near Islands, I see Ann and Mimi. They see me, and dart into the building. Carly was also waiting outside, and she led me in. When we get to our table, there are like a gazillion people there (more like 12 or so), and they all screamed "HAPPY BIRTHDAY MICHAEL!! SURPRISE!!!!" For a second, I was wondering what the hell was going on, but then I realized what was happening. Dude, no one's ever thrown a surprise birthday part for me before =). I thought only Ann and Carly were gonna be there, but apparently they had planned that. They aso secretly invited, Mimi, Jessie, Kevin, Wes, Gerald, Chris, Jessie, Alexandra, Lauren, Leah, and I'm sure I'm forgetting a lot of other people. So we ate, I got presents, and the waitress brought out a slice of a chocolate ice cream cake with a single candle in it. lol. I blew it out, and we shared it =).

After we come out of Islands, we just hang out for a while, and then head into Edwards to buy our tickets. But its still like an hour and a half until the movie starts, so we head into the aracade, where I find that they now have DDR, and that's what I waste most of my time and money doing. lol. The movie itself was pretty awesome, something I'd defintitly recommend people to go watch.

When we come out, its dark, and Ann, Chris, Wes, and Gerald leave. Me, Kevin, Mimi, Carly, and Kevin go chill in Starbucks, and then at around 8:30 I have to go myself.

Holy hell, you guys are the bestest! =)

On Sunday morning, I was at Vons for the vons ensemble thingy, and it was incredible how much f*cking money we made when we sounded so horrible. On Monday, we find out that we made close to $300, so each person that was there gets about $22.

Now on to school business. On Monday in orchestra, I sucked more so that usual. I was messing up stuff that I usually don't, and it was pissing me off. I knew exactly when Mr. Torns was going to stop the orhestra and talk to me about playing better. Ofcourse, he never indicates me directly, but I know who he means.

Today we had a sub in math and took a test. With a sub, it was soooooooo much easier than with Mr. Cummings. lol. I was looking through the book for formulas and such, and she didn't even give a damn. I'm pretty sure I *passed* that test. That doesn't happen to often anymore in math >.<.

This whole week and part of last week, we've been performing Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream (grammar rules!). It's so damn funny how our class does it, but its cool. I love the way Mr. P starts out each session... *holds hand straight out and looks ahead at the wall* "ACT 1!" *holds up one finger* "SCENE 2!!" *twists hand around and holds up two fingers* *throws arm around to point at narrator* "NARRATOR!" lol, ahhhhh. You just gotta be there to experience it. lol. Today during the play, Mr. P's part required him to put on a mask that resembles a donkey's head, and Sammie, Puck, was standing right next to him. "Ahhhh, thats scary!" lol, then Mr. P starts chasing Sammie and we all laugh because its not part of the act. lol. My character is Theseus, by the way.

After school, I went tutoring again with Allison. Fun stuff. Then we came back to MC and I stayed there until orchestra rehersal at 7 PM. At school, I practiced my violin, watch swim, and then with Peter, Allison, and Jessie, walked over to Carls Junior. Good food. Yep. When we get back, we hang out for a while, and then more orch people start arriving, and we have a rehersal.

Rehersal was pretty damn good, I think. Mr. Torns made us play everything twice, so the rehersal stretched twice and long as everyone expected it to be, but we sound good. I think we're gonna do okay at festival at the Poway Performing Arts center tomorrow night.

You should come watch us.
