Huh, 4 days in a row where I post an update. That must be a record.

But this one is quite brief. All I want to do is introduce the new background music: the main theme from Schindler's List. Composed by John Williams and violin solos by Itzhak Perlman... pure gold, I tell you =P.

Aiiiiieeeeeeee last swim practice until.. next week?! I'm stoked thats its the weekend... even though this whole week was supposed to have been a "break."

I just finished watching Schindler's List. Almost left me in tears. Key word there is "almost." Besides that, I'm pretty much speechless about it. You should go see it.

I'm hungry.

God fucking dammit.

Today, dryland training became open not only for former varsity swim members, but also to anyone that the head coach Dan personally asked to attend. I was one of those who he asked to attend. To get an understanding how much of a coveted honor that is, you should know that I didn't believe he was asking me at first, and that some people who aspire to joining varsity and have been training with them were worried about what it might mean for them to not be asked.

I told my dad that's what I'd be doing tonight and he said, "Alright, I'll drop you off for the training right before I take your brother to his music lesson." But as time drew nearer, he decided to get bitchy and become uncooperative.

-"Dad, we need to go now if we want there to be enough time for you to drop me off and then take david to his lessons."
-"Just give me a few more minutes to wash these dishes."
-"Okay, you're done, can we go now??"
-"Be patient, I still need to take a shower."

After all that, we all get in the car, and almost all the way there he's like, "Doesn't look like there's gonna be enough time for me to drop you off." Then he starts counting down the minutes. "5 minutes till the lesson starts, looks like I won't be able to drop you off.. 4 minutes, how do you expect me to drop you off now?... 3 minutes, looks like you're not going... 2 minutes, great, now you've made your brother late, too." By this point, he's basically yelling at me, like I had something to do with making him mad, even though I hadn't said a word the entire time. "WHY DIDN'T YOU WASH THE DISHES SO THEN I DIDN'T HAVE TO DO THEM? THAT WAY WE WOULDNT ALL BE LATE TO WHERE WE NEED TO GO. SORRY, BUT YOU CANT GO TO TRAINING." Why didn't I wash the dishes? Because you had told me to fucking go study Chinese, instead.

So I didn't get to go to the training, and I had to sit in the car while my brother was at his lesson. You've got to be fucking shitting me.

Is there even a doubt that I'm pissed?

So on Tuesday after swim practice I went to Caitlin's house with Leah to bake a cake. While it was baking, we watched "Gumbie" and ate lunch (veggie nuggets?) and played with Caitlin's neice, Megan. Amazingly, the cake turned out pretty good.. pretty damned good, especially since it was the first time I've ever made a cake, even though Leah and Caitlin did most of the work. 2 hours later, we put everything in the car, and Mrs. Crawford drove us to Von's to get some Sparkling Cider. Our next stop would be Ann's house...

WHERE WE TOTALLY SURPRISED HER WITH A BIRTHDAY CAKE CAUSE IT WAS HER BIRTHDAY AIIIEEEEEEE MOTHERLAND!! We broke out the apple cider, lit the candles, sang her happy birthday, and indulged in the pastry goodness. The frosting, especially, dude, the frosting was orgasmic. But anyways, then we sat and talked and celebrated her birthday with her, ya know?

Yeah, thats pretty much it. Nothing really happened today, so this post ends here.

And a 5 year old has a crush on me =P.

Happy 16th birthday, Ann!!

On another note, I was absolutely RAPING people tonight on America's Army =P. Look at my stats, 9 kills and 0 deaths?! I haven't had that much luck in quite a while. Then while I was reloading and taking the screenshot, an enemy (circled in red) stepped out and ruined my no-death-streak. *sigh*

Final-fucking-ly, Blogger has put in the function to add comments and choose your own name to appear by your comment. No longer do you have to be a member of blogger to post one. And so because of that, I've enabled the comment thingy. Have fun.

This is one hell of a slow week.. I just want these last few days to hurry up and be over with so that we can get to that week off. Today especially was pretty damn shitty. Not finishing a math test and not being able to come in any other time to do it, losing 3 consecutive games of badminton in PE, and orchestra. After orchestra was my music lesson where I didn't even have enough friggin time to practice for this whole damned week. Then I'm home to read like 10 pages of APEC and work on the humanities project.

And what the hell? Chamber orchestra is once again mandatory for all first violins, which means there goes another one of my nights to an extracurricular activitiy -_-. I'm seriously not sure I have enough time for it, but what does Torns care? He just needs people so that the program doesn't get cut. Atleast the music is easy enough.

The only good part about today was the sundae I got from the Costco food place after school. Yay. lol.

Alright, I'm done bitching.

Check out the profile pic. Isn't that great?

My past few days have been marked with rain, screwing around at the library with friends, movies, and getting those little red pouches with money in them for Chinese New Year's. Not much, but what do you expect? My last post was only a few days ago.

Ahahahaha, our school's Valentine's dance was cancelled because it was outdoors and the weatherman calls for rain. So much time and effort on the school's part to prepare for it, gone. =P

Speaking of Valentine's Day, hope you love birds have fun this weekend leading up to the big day. Here's some Tchaikovsky's "Romeo and Juliet" for you. It's a two minute clip of the most recognizable part.. you know, the part that plays when you make your sims kiss. Honestly though, this snippet doesn't do the entire piece justice.

Background music provided by my good friend Mr. Lennon.

Looks like I didn't get moved back after the surprise orchestra audition last wednesday. On Friday when the new seating chart was posted, I actually went up a seat. The hell? o.O

I played Clue and Uno with Ann and Carly on Friday after school.

Saturday CYO.

Sunday morning I went to Chinese school early because they asked me to be part of the dragon dancing thing for the Chinese New Year Festival, and we were supposed to reherse. I stuck around for a little bit, then thought it was gay and left. I don't think I'll be participating in that for the festival. In class I failed yet another test, and then we watched a movie (the Monkey King?!)

Monday was gay because after school my dad insisted that he "couldn't drop me off" at home before he brought my little brother to a doctor's appointment after school, even though we pass our damn house on the way anyway. And because of that, I had a period of 3 hours of inactivity (at the doctor's, dentist, pharmacy, and some other damned places) where I couldn't get anything done even when I had like a gazillion homework assignments. Needless to say, I stayed up later than I usually do finishing it up.

Today in badminton I switched from my usual partners with Chris to try out how I would play with Kevin. When Coach Malta came around to set teams we were all like "wait a second, these aren't the teams we want to be in." But Ravi, jumping the gun there, was like "Yes they are. Me and Chris are a team" and Malta wrote that down. -_-

After school I caught a few moments of the girls waterpolo game against RB with Ann.

Went home, practiced violin for a bit, and then shuffled off to the orchestra recording session at school. We had to re-record two of the pieces we did at the concert because at the concert the air conditioning had come on in the middle of our playing and the recording had picked it up. DAMN, we sounded good tonight. Seriously, like hoooleeeeeee hell, it was really good. I wish we had sounded like we did tonight at the concert. But then again, you don't get multiple chances to get it right at concerts like we did tonight =P.

Its Chinese New Year's Eve. Happy Chinese New Year, dudes! Year of the Rooster...

I know that the subject of hostages of war is no laughing matter, but this can't help but be amusing.

And in regards to today's surprise playing test in orchestra, I forsee the addition of a new member to the second violins -_-.
