Yeah, okay, orchestra bonfire was this past Friday... yesterday. Our fire pit was between that of a church group of like 40 people who would get gather around every now and then around their fire and pray and listen to this one guy give speeches about something. His the way he talked was really colorful. And on our other side was these group of gansta people who were like screwing off and swiming in the water which was prohibited and whatnot. For some reason, we had forgotten to bring a lighter or matches to light the fire with (stupid on our part), so Melissa went over to the gangstas to borrow a lighter. When she came back she was like "Ugh.. they're like drunk." This was at about 8:30. At about 9:45 I'm sitting on the rocks with Peter, Melissa, Tsukasa, and Kate, when we look over and there are like 20 people over from the church group rushing over to the gansta group. We look at the gansta group, and there's screaming and fighting. There's distinctly one girl screaming crying "stop! stop!" I thought someone was being raped at first. Literally. Then there are other people yelling at each other and almost every other word was "fuck." Then I hear someone yell "stop! the police are coming!" 30 seconds later, about 10 cop cars come rushing into the parkinglot and they swarm our of their cars and chase down everyone involved with the fight. At around this time, Melissa was getting worried about breaking curfew, especially now since the place was swarming with cops and they had blocked off all the exits and entrances. 30 seconds later my and Tsukasa are talking and a helicopter flies by over head. We don't think much of it until he shines its damn searchlight on us and we realize its a police helicopter and we were laughing and going crazy cause it was REALLY DAMN COOL!! lol. Ambrose tells us that while getting water to put the fire out, he climbed over the rocks and started filling a waterbottle with water, and the whole time the helicopter had its light directed at him probably because they thought he was someone trying to escape the scene. But when he got the water and headed back for the firepit, they left him. lol. When we packed up and was going toward's Tsukasa's car someone asked "hey, is that you're car their leaning on?" Because the police officers had gathered the peope at the fight, sat them down in parking lot right in front of Tsukasa's car and were questioning them or something and some of them were leaning on his car. Tsukasa was like "Shit! Damn, it is!" ahahaha. But when they saw us get close, the police told the people to get up, and they told us that they'd be done in about 5 minutes and we could leave. And as we got close to them, it smelled of vomit and alcohol. While sitting in the car waiting for them to let us go, we saw a guy in the back of a police car, a guy getting told to stand up by an officer and then being handcuffed, and another guy getting tested by for drunkeness by following the light from a flashlight with his eyes that the officer was moving around. Seriously, it was like we were live at the filming of something happening on the show "Cops." I hate that show cause I never found it interesting and the camera was always to jumpy because the camera man runs with it. But when I was watching this wh0le thing take place, I couldn't stop thinking about how cool it was. lol. As we were exiting, 3 cop cars rushed past us and pulled over a car in front of us. As we drove by, we looked at the driver and recognized him as one of the guys who had lent us the lighter earlier that evening. Heh. The bonfire was fun, too :p. We saw fireworks from SeaWorld while the cops were chasing the guys down and the helicopter was blinding us with its light.

Then today I woke up at 11 AM, played computer games until 4 PM, and wrote my entire Romeo and Juliet literay analysis in 2 hours. At night, I went and saw Anchorman with Chris and Wes. It not as good as everyone says it is. Okay, I'm done.

God damn, this second semester of chemistry isn't kicking off at too great a start >.<. I think so far I've failed all the major tests we've had. But everything else, homework, quizes, etc, I've aced. Why does it seem like whenever we do a lab, my group's numbers are always waaaaaaaay off from everyone else's? I swear, we're following the instructions down to the letter, but still our results are always off too much. Bah. Mr. Rankin said he would try to post grades by tomorrow, but I'm not so sure I want to see my grade. I'd like to extend a thanks over to the table of Carly, Rebecca, Sammie, and Gabrielle because they're the people I always go to when I'm confused as crap about anything, which is usually everything, and they're always willing to help. You're probably the only reason I got through first semester with an A. Thanks, guys =).

About summer assignments, I think I've procrastinated on them long enough. Tonight, I'm gonna right one of those essays. But then again, I said that to myself last night. And the night before that too, if my memory serves to be correct. Eh. I've had a The Three Musketeers and Romeo and Juliet finished for quite a while. I by all means could easily whip together 3 essays for those 2 books. But I'm not in the mood. I'm never in the mood :P. I still haven't even started The Prince and I'm saving All Quiet on the Western Front for after the summer assignments are due because we dont necessarily have an assignment to turn in for that one. I've got 2 weeks left, lets see how long I can put it off until I finally reason that I'm screwed and pick up the pace :P.

WHOOOOO YEEAAAAAHH ORCHESTRA BONFIRE THIS FRIDAY YEEEEAAAHAAAAHH!

Michael Sun here with your mid-week report. Whoo, so the end of the summer school semester officially ends tomorrow, and I'm certain that I'll be saying goodbye to it with an A average. At at the start of school 3 weeks ago (yes, it has only been 3 weeks, although it seems months), our teacher said that only a few of us would be leaving with an A. The way it is now, it looks like I'm one of them. Huzzah. With the last day of the semester comes the last day of school for some of us folks, specifically for PE. It'll be wierd having all the PE people because the majority of the people I hung out with during break were those that were doing PE. Ahh well. Today when I got to school, right in the middle of the Westview quad thingy was painted in huge yellow letters that could have easily be seen from a helicopter "WV <3 PENIS." Ahahahaha, if nothing else did, that made my day. lol. But unfortunately, something else did make my day -_-. In chemstry while doing work my table somehow started got talking to modern art and how gay modern art is... "draw a circle, add some lines, make a dot here and there, and you can sell it to a museum as 'modern art'." The next thing that happened was so damn funny it was unbelievable, but if I tried to explain it to anyone, they wouldn't get it. It was just one of those "had to be there" moments. Man, Jimmy was showing us how easily he could do modern art himeself, so he took a a lined piece of paper and drew a rectangle freehand on it. But doing it freehand, it wasn't perfect and was a bit bent. Then he said something like "I call this 'Abstract Society.' It symbolizes how we are all trapped inside a conforming four dimensional figure. Notice how the box bends with society. I'm willing to sell my painting for no less than 2 million dollars." GOD, IM LAUGHING MY ASS OFF RIGHT AS IM TYPING THIS lol. Ahhhhh, just the way he said it... lol. Seriously, it was so funny at the time that everyone at our table, Me, Jimmy, Wes, and Thomas, was laughing their asses off for atleast 5 minutes straight. My stomach hurt a hell of a lot and my eyes were watering. I don't remember laughing that hard since I was a little girl, and that was never. What made it worse was that the rest of the class was quietly doing work, so we were all trying to suppress our laughter, but we didn't completely succeed cause we got a few "wtf?" glances. I probably lost a few pounds laughing today. Whoo... that WAS the highlight of my day =D

Whoa whoa whoa, on Thursday night we planned out our movie going for the next day in all in one hour. The hour before I went to sleep.

Then on Thursday after summer school, Me, Allison, Meg, Andrea, and Ambrose walked to Subway to by our lunch. On their way over there, we saw MATT STEVENS!!! I haven't seen him in a while. Then we waited in line to buy our food. While in line, my brother came in, which indicated that my dad was there to give me and Allison a ride. A few seconds later, Meg's dad came in. He was carpooling Meg and Andrea. Right after we bought our stuff, we go out into the parking lot and there's Ambrose's dad, waiting for him. It was wierd cause it was so well planned. Right on time and to the minute and everything o.O. And to think that we had rushed the planning just the night before. lol. It reminded me of the movie The Italian Job which I whole heartedly suggest everyone to go out to rent and watch it.
Everyone else left for the theater, but me and Allison had to go pick Ann up at her place. We as we approached her house, she was already standing there, which made it even more convienient and added to the illusion that we had exactually took our time with planning this whole thing :P. When we got to the theater, everyone was already waiting there for us by the fountain...

The mall was dead empty except for us, so having nothing else to do, we went in to buy our tickets to Spider-Man 2 and sat down 30 minutes before it actually started. It was a good movie. After the movie, we decided to stay till the end of the credits for some reason, lol, and we kept the employees who are supposed to come in and pick up trash at the door cause they had to wait for us to leave first :P. Then we screwed around in the arcade for a little while, me and Amborse wasted 2 dollars on a game that was rigged (either that, or it was extremely messed up).

Then we skipped over to Marshalls and kept screwing around... saw Andrea's mom... tried on shoes... skirts, etc. And after that we went to Starbucks and Jamba Juice. When that was done, we all walked back over to the theater where Ambrose's dad was going to pick everyone up except me cause like like 2 blocks away and can just walk home. On The walk home, I made friends with a 40 something year old guy on a bike who has a lisp and spits when he talks. He was cool though.

And on Friday it was Happy Birthday to Allison!!

On Saturday morning I woke up at 6 AM, went to Lake Miramar, jogged two and a half miles and walked another one and half miles.

This morning my legs were extremely sore.

And they lived happily ever after.

Friday was pretty damn fun. First off, in chemistry we had a substitute and did pretty much lab work the entire day. It was a good break for the usual hours of lecturing we have to sit through :P. While doing one of the labs, the teacher handed me a beaker of ammonium hydroxide, and while I was walking back to my table with it, I heard another group somewhere in the room say "Ewww! This stuff smells!" So natrually, I had to smell it. I brought it up right under my nose, and even before I could get a really good whiff of it, my nasal passages felt like they were on fire and my eyes were watering like crazy, but at the same time I was laughing my ass off because everyone else had seen me smell it was laughing, too. After that, Wes decided to smell it himself, but he was a lot more cautious about it now he knew what it could do. He slowly brought it in under his nose until it was about half a foot away, and then he was like "Damn! It's strong from this far away, it must've been hell when it was right under Michael's nose!" Yeah, it was pretty bad. I felt dizzy and lightheaded for the rest of the day. And by nightfall, I still had the smell of the ammonium hydroxide in my nose.

After summer school, I went to Melissa's house where several other people showed up for the Vons Ensemble thing to reherse. It was fun stuff.

And that night I went and saw Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story with Ambrose and Meg. Holy hell, that movie is funny. lol. I suggest you go get up off your ass and head over to the movie theater just to sit back on your ass to watch it.

That was Friday, and then Saturday came along. In the afternoon I went to Hilltop Park for Kirsten's surprise birthday party, but as I was too hours late, I missed the "surprise" part :P. I hung out up there for a few hours with Ambrose, Scott, John, and AJ, and some other people until me and Ambrose decided it was too "Asian Gansta" for us so we walked down to MC to watch the fireworks from there. As soon as we entered the stadium we were greeted my Carly and Ann and some other people. Then while walking around to see if we could find people we knew, we saw Kelly, and then Karen, Sammie, and Jane, who we ended up sitting with along with Carly, Ann, and their group. We sat and talked for a while, talked about perverted things, music, movies, how much the band playing there sucked... and then the show started. Not much to talk about the fireworks show except that it was loud :P.

And today I'm going to be at Von's in the afternoon for the ensemble, and after that I'm off to my Grandma's house for a barbecue. I was originally going up to LA to my uncle's house where he got hold of some fireworks, but he decided to come down to SD instead. And tonight I'm gonna be at the Mira Mesa park for their fireworks.

Toodles.
