Why does Dvorak kick so much ass? I don't know, but oh well, all the better for us! Here's Dvorak's "Carnival Overture" playing in the background. I got to see the Prague Symphony Orchestra perform this piece a few weeks ago?!

Sooo, I know a lot of you have been looking foward to an update, and I guess I'll come out now and satisfiy that desire. I guess you could consider this entry as an abridged version, because there's a lot of stuff to talk about... a hell of a lot more than I care to spend time typing out.

April 5th was my birthday, and the only two people who remembered on their own were Patty and Ann. What about the rest of you? Pssh. As people slowly began to realize it, the day gradually got more fun and amusing :P.

The Friday of that week JV swim had our gutterball/pizza party "fun" day. All I have to say about that is that I don't care much for gutterball. If it were up to me, we would have played waterpolo. So in my opinion, we should have just skipped the hour that we used to play gutterball and go straight to the pizza eating.

That Sunday I went to Chinese school for like half an hour where everyone in the school was herded into a large lecture hall and some lady lectured us on DNA, the human genome, etc. wtf?? o.O I don't know. I only stayed for half an hour cause then I had to leave for the chamber orchestra concert at Mr. Torn's church in Pacific Beach. There were two significant things that happened at the concert. One was that it was the first time I've ever played as a principal player (principal 3rd) under Mr. Torns. Second, it was the worst concert that I've ever played.

On Wednesday night, the school orchestra played at the Poway Festival. Both our pieces were by Beethoven, and both were seriously lacking. The reason for that is that we had never really worked on those pieces at all. Now that I think about it, once Torns got serious with chamber, he just kinda left the rest of the orchestra without direction. So it wasn't until the monday after the chamber concert that the entire orchestra put effort into the Beethoven's. Unfortunately, by then the festival was only two days away... So little preparation time, and yet we still maganged to get a unanimous superior rating =P. The judges must have really low standards... haha.

Friday was Patty's birthday. HAPPY 16TH PATTY!!*&! I accidently knocked her to the ground when chasing her down trying to tell her that. Yeah, I know, smooth operator -_-. Friday was also the day that me, Chris, and Kevin won the badminton tournament in PE?! Actually, no, Friday wasn't the day we won. But anyways, we won. That means that we're all second time winners and get a free no-run pass for a mile... again. lol. Coach Malta was like "Thats it, I won't let you guys win again!" Ahahahahahah, what I can I say? We kick ass. We're a legacy, a dynasty within the badminton nations of third period PE! =P

Besides that, Friday was also the day of the swim meet against Westview. I saw a lot of people I knew on the other team, like Thai-an, Agnes, Peggy Allen (haven't seen her since middle school), Neima, and a whole bunch of other people that I know through Thai-an but not really, catch my drift? I'd say it was a pretty close meet... but we (MC) all lost. That is, except for our Varsity Girls. They're still undefeated. They're so freaking elite... like the Einsatzgruppen of the MC swim team. Haha. I wouldn't be surprised if they took CIF's this year. In fact, I think we're all expecting it.

Mr. Gilson got really pissed at us in CYO on saturday.

SPRING BREAK!)(*&!!*^!%$!

I'm lovin' it.
